I guess I better drag out my amplifier then.

I've since found out its an ex cinema amp 120 watts mono, with 2 inputs, limiting and tone controls. It runs 6! EL36 / 6CM5s in push pull.

I have to find a suitable 12 or 15 inch speaker for her too, oh well more hunting around in the shed time.  Tears

Its a Philips EV44?? amp.

That bass has sat in the shed for over 30 years  Crazy

White ants made a nest in my Acer laptop yesterday, but not your bass after 30 years  Crazy

Never heard of a Philips EV44. Nothing much on Google neither.  book1

3 string bass sounded OK though my Sony home stereo I use for guitar, but that's a bit hard to go portable with.

Even your transistor amp would work well enough I guess.

It's not like we have a band called 'The CB Dickheads' or sumthin out on tour with 'no gig' Dimmock  Band

What speaker is in the transistor amp? Might be able to make a heller beast out of the two?

Tip shops are gay now days, so not sure where to source a second hand speaker from.

Might take a screw driver down to the arts center and see if there's any nice ones in the back row of the auditorium.  glasses9

After scratching around in the back shed, I found a 10 inch subwoofer and a Roland 15 inch 300 watt driver as well.

I have 2 transistor guitar amps one is a gay little practice amp from the 1960s , the other a home made one, ex a mates band from the 1970s and 80s. I think its either 60 or 120 watts.

I dragged it out and I'm going to pop the lid and see what's in there.

Its just the amp though no speakers.

I'm hoping to drag bertha the MENS amp out later on and see what's what in there.

6 big output bottles should make LOTS of noise.

Now I have to learn to play, I only got one lesson in the late 1970s

Dug 2 of my 3 amps out.

The Philips one is indeed a 120 watter, Bulldog would cream his jeans.

It needs restoration though its had a hard hard life long before I got it, its a project for some rainy days.

Its an ex cinema type amp with 2 inputs and its been grafted rather crudely into an old guitar amp box that needs a 12 inch speaker.

The little one is a vintage Coronet amp, transistor but old germanium ones, it was working but got very noisy over time until all you could hear was shhhhhhhhhhhh.

Its got "Benowa High School Electronics Club" engraved on it  Tears

A can 'o freezer spray found the dud transistor and another old one from the junk box and she goes, it even has my really long guitar lead in it.

Buggered now so giving up for a day or 3.

You must be rooted.

I seen where those amps were under that avalanche of stuff you have in the skunkworks.

Would have been easier to pull a frozen Mammoth out of bung hole Bundy's ice butt.

Might have to get a D9 over and clear a path to the buried beer fridge down back near the buried working pinny machine.

Ow at least some of ye buried stuff is seeing the light of day again   occasion18

I hope your taking progress photos for a EV4437 project page  book1

I'd throw a sheet over your background stuff so Bung hole doesn't see what your dieloads looks like.

Good news, all the important screws and truss rod work  icon_cheers

Lotta rubbing and tugging today.

Darn chrome fell off the pick-ups - might go the brass look.

Head stock was begging for a face lift. A "Chopper" decal with clear stuff over top would look good?

Gotta find out if Bung Hole Badfellow can rub and polish as well.

Beautiful!

Just go with what ever takes ya fancy, I have no emotional attachment to that guitar.

Its just a dunger to learn on.

Kyrandia worries that youll spend all yer cash on my old dunger guitar.

LOL, Kyrandia, only $1.13 so far.

Only other thing I need is a can of clear lacquer.

Everything else is getting a rub and tug  large member

Motivational food for the Bass Master  Wood Chopping ...

Second lesson piss up (first is 12 bar) will be this Kiss bass line. (that's pretty much 12 bar anyway)

Rather straight forward - he just rocks back and forth flicks his thumb dials between two notes frequencies in a few different spots.
